RUNNERS, joggers and walkers are gearing up for the Lingfield Marathon on Sunday.
People of all ages will be taking part in the six-mile fun run, six-mile fun walk and the ten-mile fun run for over-18s.
A Family Fun Day will be taking place from 10am before the races kick off from noon at Young Epilepsy in St Piers lane.
Prizes for the runners, walkers and spectators in best fancy dress will be awarded on the day and there will be 19 trophies available for individual runners and teams.
The Lingfield Marathon Fun Run has been an annual event since 1981, when the United Nations introduced The International Year of the Disabled.
The money raised was to be used for the purchase, running and upkeep of a minibus with a hydraulic lift for use by the community to pursue leisure activities whenever they wanted.
Free parking will be available on the day at Youth Epilepsy.
