HOLTYE Road has been reopened after a five hour closure following a high speed crash.
Three ambulances and three emergency response cars were scrambled to the East Grinstead road, which joins the town to Tunbridge Wells, this morning at 5.50am after a high speed car crash.
One of the drivers was taken by land ambulance to St George's Hospital, in Tooting, London, with serious injuries.
The second driver, a man in his 50s, was taken by land ambulance to Royal Sussex Hospital in Brighton complaining of back injuries.
Both lanes had been closed along Holtye Road following the incident but reopened at 10.45am.
